This Southern California beach house was in desperate need of an update. Tight hallways created a dark and closed-off floor plan and mirror-lined walls all needed to go. Outdated fixtures were replaced with classic mid-century pieces and modern updates to bring in a fresh and vibrant feel which is just what you want in a beach house. The current layout reveals unobstructed views of the ocean from the main living area on the third floor. Rustic oak wood floors add an element of warmth in contrast to the bright sunny details of the space.
